VMB is growing! Membership is at an all time high, we have big projects in the works, and want to accomplish even more. To do it all, and make sure we continue to provide excellent riding experiences and serve our members, we need enthusiastic riders who share our vision to help out. We're looking to fill several key volunteer positions. Membership Coordinator
The role is simple: make sure VMB members get exceptional service, from discounts to insurance to communication. Youll work to find and promote discounts for members, work to retain existing members through incentives and communication, and create exciting ways to attract new members.
Merchandise Coordinator:
VMB is creating lots of exciting merchandise for our community and we’re seeking someone to help manage the creatiion, promotion, fulfilment, and inventory management of VMB-related Ts, Hoodies, jerseys, water bottles and other gear.
Communications Coordinator
This person will partner with our officers, ambassadors and other coordinators to keep our members informed of important news, events, volunteer opportunities, and other key info. You will contribute to or lead our monthly newsletter creation, and contribute to our website and social media posts.
Grant and Fundraising Coordinator
You will work with our grant and fundraising team to seek out and apply for grant opportunities relevant to ongoing and new projects; create and manage GoFundMe pages, assist in developing and managing additional fundraising efforts—from raffles to rides.
Accountant: We are seeking a certified accountant who can perform yearly budget and expense audits, assist with tax and non-profit compliance, and provide input on related financial matters.
Design Coordinator: Bring more attention to VMB merch, social posts, event promotions and other material with strong, compelling design. Ideally you’ll be able to help create templates for newsletters, regular promotions, and scheduleled content, as well as develop one off designs as needed.
Videographer: If you are like us and want to share the stoke and joy or riding with as many people as possible, let us know. We’re looking for someone who can create regular social edits that get people excited to ride our trails, as well as produce quick informative vids that update our community on trail changes, new features, and other visual-driven content. Expensive video equipment not required.
Ride Leaders: If you love riding (duh), want to share the stoke with others, like to keep things organized and can commit to a regular schedule of rides, this role is for you. We’re looking for member or members to lead weekly or monthly rides at various trail systems. We can work with your schedules and interests to create consistent rides that bring our members together, bring in new ones, and get more people having more fun on our local trails.
