Well, why not?! Sunday, mid-morning. You only get these 100-year floods every three years or so. Come on out with your sealed-up camera and an extra set of gloves (your hands might get wet from the river-level if you ride in the drops) for an excellent adventure.
The river will be up above flood stage and the roads will be closed in many spots, so the only access to this whole spectacle will be upon bikes. It is really impressive to see the river at full strength overstretching it's limits, as well as seeing how powerful it can be. Or goal is to basically get from Upper Black Eddy to Stockton or New Hope (and back) and we'll hit many hills along the way if the roadway is too dangerous (John Dude's rule for that is anything above waist high). This ride will be unique, to say the least!
