Everyone - It is that time of year again and we are seeking nominations to VMB board.
We are looking for people that would like to get involved with the club and and help promote biking in the valley. It doesn't require a lot of time - we get together a several times a year for just a few hours. (We all ride and have families too and we schedule everything around that).
The main thing for board members is to be able to openly and productively discuss and advise on issues facing the biking community and the club. some examples are:
race and event planning and scheduling
fund raising strategies
trail access/new trails/new parks
trail maintenance
membership and social media
Everyone brings a different set of skills and experience. The hope is to have a diverse group so someone will have a good idea on how we should/could handle the various items
