Changes are abound! Parking improvements at the North Range Lot have been an ongoing, collaborative effort between Lehigh County, VMB and the Trexler Trail Crew. Two of the more notable improvements so far include: The cleanup of the horse shed debris and open space by Lehigh County for a new row of parking and the implementation of a new design layout for counter-clockwise traffic to facilitate in/out traffic flow. Yesss! You’ll also discover parking stops have been spaced wider and longer to accommodate bike racks and trucks and new bump outs for rider rest areas and two new picnic tables were added. The Porta-John furnished by VMB will resume service by Lehigh County in April. Also, please note the no parking lane to allow for direct access to the gate for Emergency vehicles. And finally, there are new kiosk trail maps and Lehigh County is working on signage, so a good project continues to get better!
