I had a few hours to get a ride in. I asked Kiese who has even fewer hours due to 85 kids. We rolled to jordan to putz around. I was dressed in my stuff, which i know looks kind of "too much," but that's all i got. These two guys were across from us with DH type of bikes and we all did the typical "head nod". I yelled, have a good ride, and he came over and asked us if we knew the trails b/c they were frisbee golfers. We enthusiastically abliged(sp), why not, right!!! The one guy, Chris, just bought his bike from SVB literally a day ago, and the other guy, chris, from Dick's(BOOOOOOOOOOO). Well they struggled from the start, but they enjoyed it. We showed them the other side of the bridge and there smiles were getting bigger. We joked that they would be the fittest frisbee golfers out there. About an hour into it, they decided to head out. It was really cool to get someone excited about a bike they just bought and maybe convert them or at least have them take up the hobby. It's kind of nice to see new people buy a bike from a local bike shop, ride a local trail, worked on by local riders, and interested in a local club. Nice day for everyone. Have a great holiday everyone!!!!
