I managed to swing a ride this morning - it was raining of course but otherwise the trail conditions were rather good. All the traffic Trex has been getting has worked in great, fast line. The only slippery places were the wooded areas around 1/2 pipe two because of the oak leaves on top of the hardpack. Water was running everywhere though and even across the trail in a few spots but no mud no erosion no trees down and no hunters. Still had my blazin bells on just in case.
I'd like to say thanks to the trail crews that have been working there - not only to clear the trail but the work on shale face is great. I really like the "exposure" and the true PA scenery/rocks - the fog and mist only added to the overall cool experience this morning
If your looking to get out tonight or tomorrow AM, Trex is your place.
