Volunteer Opportunity for Salvation Army 5k

We received the following request for volunteer help. The woman that sent the request works for Lehigh County and knows VMB through the Sals trash cleanup days that she helped to organize.

I am on the board of the Salvation Army and our Children’s Services (Foster Care and Adoption Program) Department and I am assisting them in hosting our first annual 5K at Coca-Cola Park on Saturday, May 12.

In other races, there is someone who leads the pack on bike and then wraps around to the end of the line. Is there someone or two members of your club who may like to help us with this task? I would really appreciate it if you could ask the club members.

We are also in need of runners, sponsors, and volunteers for other duties should you be interested! J
