That's right - there is plenty of it now and temps are forecast to go down. Hope the conditions hold. Nothing beats a crusty ride.

No need to wear orange in the woods anymore....unless you are trying to make a fashion statement.
Small game season continues until Feb 22, so don't take out your coon-skin helmet covers just yet.
This weekend is a BOGO weekend at Ray's, Cleveland. Current IMBA members buy admission for one day and get the second for FREE!!! See the link for more details. http://www.raysmtb.com/events/imba-weekend.html
Are we going to have crust for the 3rd time in my lifetime? That all elusive hard coating that allows you to ride anywhere in the woods without obstruction....................

Attention Racers - The new owners of South Mountain Cycle & Cafe in Emmaus are planning a race team for 2014 and beyond. They will be supporting a mountain bike team as well as teams for cyclocross, road and track cycling. They have a great group of sponsors coming on board and hope to have good representation in all four disciplines this coming year. On the Mountain Bike XC side of things I will be helping to co-ordinate the team.
Just wanted to wish Everyone @ VMB a Merry Christmas @ hope Santa was good to you all !
I get Health Alerts from PA Dept. of Health and I got an alert about 3 Sudden Cardiac Deaths Associated with Lyme Carditis in PA in the past year. Before this year, "only four cases have been reported in the US medical literature". I just wanted to pass this along because we all spend alot of time in the woods and Lyme disease sucks and something must be going on for 3 people to have died from it in one year.
I'm intrigued by this thing. Has anyone seen one in a local store? I haven't seen any here down south at Q-town or Hilltown.
Sure, it's a 48 pound behemouth, but for $200 it might be worth it's weight in fun....
