SUMMARY:Ride the Valley - Trexler Nature Preserve
DESCRIPTION:VMB’s ‘Ride the Valley’ Series is back for 2026! This monthly series gives VMB members and non-members a chance to ride together\, socialize\, explore the VMB trails\, and learn more about VMB.\nIn October\, we will ride the trails at Trexler Nature Preserve. Meeting point and ride will be at the Mill Creek Parking lot\, off of North Range utilities road. Meet at 9:45am\, ready to roll at 10am. We typically split into groups according to skills and pace.\nThis ride will take place the day before TrexXxFest race – perfect opportunity to come out and pre-ride the stages! We will have at least one group pre-riding the stages.\nMake sure to stop by the VMB tent to learn more about current club projects\, volunteer opportunities\, and get some snacks and refreshments after the ride.

SUMMARY:14th Annual TrexXxFest Funduro
DESCRIPTION:Whether you are super competitive or have never timed yourself before\, this event is for you.  The stages are between 1 to 2.5 miles long and incorporate flowy descents as well as a little climbing.  This will test your bike handling ability at high speeds as well as your overall fitness. The best part is that you will have time to recover between each stage. \n\nAll proceeds from the registration fees go to Valley Mountain Bikers and support local trail systems.\n10am-2pm\, staggered stage start times.\nTiming chip pickup goes from 8:00 – 9:30 am on Sunday.\nSix event stages\n\nFor more information and to register\, visit: https://www.bikereg.com/14th-annual-trexxxfest
