An out-and-back trail that loosely follows the shoreline at Round Valley Reservoir, approximately 7 miles to the turnaround point; add a few miles of road riding and this can be done as a 12-mile loop. Just technical enough to make the hills difficult, and just hilly/steep enough to make the technical stuff difficult, this is a great training place for both fitness and bike handling skills. Great views of the lake from some overlooks.
