i rode from bethlehem to easton (and back) on the tow path the other day. It was my first time on it. The following weekend I rode on the delaware canal system from (approx) upper black eddy to new hope and back. It was awesome too.
Getting the itch to ride from bethlehem along the leigh high canal path to the end of the delaware canal path in bristol PA. Guessing maybe 75 miles give or take.
has anyone done that and have any insight to share? Is anyone interested in doing it this fall? I was thinking about burning a day or two during the week and taking off from work. (hopefully the trail will be less crowded during the week also). I would prefer to ride from start/end of the leigh high canal trail but on the map the trail doesnt look that clear (heading through allentown north).
Anyone interested...... I found two spots along the delaware canal path that allows camping (if need be).
Dont mind doing this ride solo but thought some folks may also be interested.....
