Do you ride at high rocks? Then you know the condition of the trails is needing lots of tlc. I have been contacted by DCNR and they are outlining projects for restoration and change at the park. The Doylestown rock gym group/club has organized a meeting with DCNR that I have been invited to on Feb. 11th at 10:00AM at the Doylestown Rock Gym.
I am hoping to gather some fellow mountain bikers to participate in trail maintenance and to make a presence so we are included in the process. Please contact me if you are interested in helping. I have not worked with DCNR before so I would also appreciate anybody with experience to accompany me to the meeting.
I think this is a great opportunity for us to improve this park, at least I hope so. And of course, if we are not heard, this park could end up closed to mountain bikers.
