Why I want to be president of Valley Mountain Bikers

As you may know I am a trail builder at Trexler

The Mountain bike trails at Trexler are currently being substantially diminished with no clear plan for replacement or expansion in the future. As club president I believe I can most effectively restore the trails lost at Trexler and expand the trail network in a way that balances all concerned parties and the health and well being of the park. This however can only be achieved with the positive attitude, commitment, and effort of you. This is a group effort. We have the power.

I would like to grow the membership of VMB with the help of the current members, local bike shops and our great trail systems. I want VMB to represent the mountain bike community at large. There is strength in numbers.

I would like to reach out to other trail users or organizations for understanding of there wants and concerns and gain additional support for Trexler. We may find this helpful with current and future access and projects.

I would like to diversify VMB leadership (and in turn membership) with some new faces and ideas. Please do not misconstrue this as a criticism of our current president, officers (none of which have been challenged) or board they collectively have served well, have been very supportive of Trexler and other ventures, and through their efforts of becoming an IMBA chapter have left the club with a bright future.

I do not want to run the club, I want to lead it’s members.

I ask for your vote for el Presidente

please come out on election night December 8, Saucon Valley Bikes
