After riding tonight's ride and interacting with all the different people and personalities I re-realized the importance of this club to our community at large. Like many of you I have been frustrated at the goings on and the growing pains but they are called growing pains for a reason. I was being reactionary when I said I was going to start a new club and yes, I started the gears turning to create a new club but I do realize that VMB is intregal to the fabric of this community. I want to ride my bike and I want to grow and participate in VMB's community of events and ultimately I want there to be future riding opportunities for my children and everyone else's. That is why Transue started VMB in the first place, to protect and grow mountain biking in the Lehigh valley. We all have our own growing pains and agendas but, we all share the same effin passion. Let's get it together people. Let's start here. Thank you to everyone who has led rides, cleared trails, wrote bylaws, volunteered their precious time, worked with land manages, swung an ax, pounded a keyboard and voiced their opinion on this club. We have a long history and where other clubs have failed we are still here. Let's move forward!
